Original campaign ideas by Valentina Rivera designed to address key pain points of the corresponding target audience. Her ideas are primarily inspired by real-life experiences and external influences, ensuring authenticity and relevance in each campaign.
No.3 A Denim Struggle
“Curve love, love every curve in your body”
A young woman prepares for a "Denim Party" but struggles to find jeans that actually fit her curvy body. She tries on multiple pairs—some too tight, some too long, some with a frustrating waist gap—until she finally finds the perfect pair. The spec reinforces the confidence clothes give & the importance of designing fashion for every type of body.
No.6 What is natural beauty?
“Redefining beauty”
A woman throwing away her makeup and appreciating her natural beauty. A narrative showcasing a consumer’s rejection of the beauty industry’s subliminal message that natural beauty is not enough, that makeup is a necessity. Concept fit for a brand/campaign seeking to inspire the public to redefine for themselves what beauty is.
No.7 Aging
“How lucky are we, that we get to age”
(Sit-down-interview style) Three people of different ages holding a picture of their loved ones and describing their personality. A man with his young child talks about the story behind the picture shown. A woman holds picture of her deceased father & rejoice in describing his personality to her daughter. Showcasing how lucky we are to see our parents age, and for ourselves to age, because the alternative is not being here.
No.9 What if?
“Small risk, big reward”
A young man is sitting in a bus is having an internal battle of gathering the courage to talk to an attractive woman. The spec cuts in and out between Scenario A. The bus and Scenario B: The collection of memories the couples could make together. The video ends with him feeling defeated by the internal battle, all the sudden the woman sits next to him and smiles.
What is DOCE? DOCE for Immigrants by Immigrants is a bilingual podcast that explores journeys of immigration from Latin America to the USA. The podcast dives deep into personal narratives of growth, sacrifice and success; creating a space where Latinos living in American can feel at home, far away from home.
What does DOCE mean? DOCE means twelve in Spanish and it is the age at which Valentina became an immigrant, an experience that changed her life forever.
DOCE Podcast is just the beginning of a long journey to amplify Latino narratives—told by those who truly understand the cultural nuances and the reality that “one size” has never fit all. Valentina’s ultimate goal is to craft long-form stories that evolve into full-scale productions, where her expertise in Brand Management, Marketing, Production, Videography, and Audio converges—ultimately bringing these stories to life on the big screen
DOCE is hosted, produced and edited by Valentina Rivera.
